Winter Chills is inspired by the first cold months Laura (the lead singer) lived in Berlin.
This song describes the feelings you experience when you first get to know a person you know could become important to you; to enter a new world, a little dark, even cold perhaps; to wonder if it's worth getting lost in it. But if this desire is so strong, if we're "melting inside", what alternative do we have but to try? We don't have infinite time.
